    South Portland - This afternoon the Seawolves were looking for redemption as they faced off against the Knights of Vermont Tech who had handed them a 72-68 loss when the two teams met in November. Seawolves sophomore forward John Morgan (Sanford, ME) put the team on his back, netting 21 points on 8-12 shooting, to lead SMCC to an eventual 79-68 triumph.
  • Mustangs Drop Seawolves on Buzzer Beater in OT

    Auburn - Last night's men's YSCC matchup between the Seawolves of SMCC and the Mustangs of CMCC was everything one could ask for in a rivalry game. There were screaming student sections, 13 lead changes, 12 ties, overtime and a buzzer beater for the win followed by fans storming the court. Mustangs' shooting guard Kaleb Benjamin was the hero last night, releasing a bomb from the top of the key with one tick remaining on the clock that hit nothing but the bottom of the net to push CM past SM 85-83.
  • Seawolves Grab 102-92 Victory at Machias

    Machias - This afternoon the Seawolves picked up a huge win on the road at UMaine-Machias. The matchup featured the YSCC East second seed Clippers and third ranked Seawolves and it was an exciting battle for 40 minutes. Sophomore guard Matt Talbot (Portland, ME) came up big with a 28 point, 10 rebound performance to lead the Seawolves to a 102-92 victory.
  • Seawolves Fall Short Against Lynx

    Concord, NH - In last night's mens basketball action a three pointer from Seawolves shooting guard Matthew Jarrett (Norwalk, CT) made it a one point game, 89-88, with just under four minutes remaining in regulation. NHTI responded with a nine point run that helped solidify a 105-94 Lynx victory.
  • Seawolves Defeat UMA, DeRosby Gets Triple-Double

    South Portland - Seawolves' point guard Jordan DeRosby (Waterville, ME) had the game of his career last night chalking up a triple-double against the Moose of UMA. The SM junior scored 12 points, grabbed 13 rebounds and dished out 11 assists to lead the Seawolves to a 101-76 conference victory.

    South Portland - In yesterday's USCAA men's basketball action the Seawolves took a 12 point lead into the locker room at the half but the Owls of UMaine-Presque Isle came storming back in the second to take the 72-64 triumph.

    Portsmouth, NH - Seawolves' center Jack Tolan (South Portland, ME) scored 14 of his game high 19 points in the first half of tonight's game, helping SMCC rack up a 53-36 halftime lead over the Herons of Great Bay Community College. The Seawolves kept the momentum in the second half, this time led by big man Daniel Tokarz (Kittery, ME) who scored nine of his career high 11 points in the second period helping lift the Seawolves to a 101-60 triumph.

    Rutland, VT - The Seawolves came out hot in last night's game against the Saints of the the College of St. Joseph's, shooting an impressive 15-29 from the field in the first half to build a 25 point lead going into the break. St. Joe's made a push in the second but the Seawolves were able to hang on and clinch the 85-70 victory.

    South Portland - After being deadlocked at the intermission, the Mustangs of CMCC used a late second half run to overcome the Seawolves, 82-73.
