It is the mission of SMCC Athletics to continuously better the student-athlete experience, thus all of the proceeds of this 16th Annual SMCC Athletics Golf Tournament, hosted by the Southern Maine Community College Foundation and the SeaWolves Athletic Club, will help fund the athletic program offerings at SMCC.

Athletics Engagement and Academic Report: Spring 2020June 09, 2020SOUTH PORTLAND, Maine—At the conclusion of the semester, Southern Maine Community College (SMCC) Director of Athletics Matt Richards published the findings of the semi-annual Spring 2020 Athletics Engagement and Academic Report. The report shows student-athlete GPAs and retention rates based on United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) normal progress rules for athletic participation eligibility.

Hagerman Alumni GamesJanuary 08, 2020SOUTH PORTLAND, Maine— Southern Maine Community College Athletics and its basketball programs will hold the 9th annual Timothy D. Hagerman Memorial Alumni Games inside the HUB Gymnasium on the South Portland campus Saturday, Feb. 8. These games are named in honor of Timothy Hagerman, a beloved teammate of the men’s basketball program from 2005-08. Timothy, a back-to-back conference champion, passed away of cancer in 2011.
